Have you ever thought about what makes Christianity different from all other religions? Many people consider themselves religious or spiritual, but Christianity alone has a living God and Savior. He is the only God who delivers His people and provides a remedy for the universal problem of sin. All other gods require works of obedience to merit any form of salvation—if offered at all.
 

 Our God and Father made us in His image. Yet, from the fall of man, we have attempted to make gods in OUR image and to our likeness. We have imagined gods that fit our perception of who He should be. However, today’s verse tells us that all other gods are merely idols. We must worship God for who He is, and we can know Him through His Word.
 

This entire passage exudes praise and worship to the one true and living God over all—and rightly so! He alone is worthy to receive all our praise, honor, and glory. He alone created the heavens, the earth, and every person that ever existed. He alone is the author of our salvation. Let us worship Him with all He created us to be.
 

Father, You alone are worthy of all my praise.
